Beware Nuggets Bearing Gifts...

You'd think a guy who plays for a team called the Trojans would know to be wary of unsolicited gifts.

Super-freshman O.J. Mayo may land in some hot water for accepting tickets to a Laker game from NBA star Carmelo Anthony. According to NCAA rules, student-athletes may not receive:

free or reduced-cost admission to professional athletics contests from professional sports organizations, unless such services also are available to the student body in general.

At minimum, it appears Mayo will be asked to make a donation to charity in the amount of the face value of the tickets -- reportedly around $230 each.
