Ebanks to West Virginia
The latest piece fell into place yesterday, when highly-coveted swingman Devin Ebanks announced his commitment to the Mountaineers.
Ebanks originally committed to Indiana, but asked for a release from his letter of intent in the wake of Kelvin Sampson's ouster.
The Queens native will join an already-strong Mountaineer recruiting class with a heavy New York accent, which includes Darryl Bryant from St. Raymond's in the Bronx and Kevin Jones of Westchester County powerhouse Mount Vernon High School.
If forward Joe Alexander withdraws from the NBA Draft -- which is considered a real possibility -- the Mountaineers could have a legitimate shot at next year's national championship.
