Brandon Jennings: "None and Done"

Thursday July 10, 2008
ESPN.com is reporting that Arizona recruit Brandon Jennings has made a decision -- he's going to skip college entirely and play in Europe to prep for the NBA Draft.

As we reported earlier this week, Jennings still hasn't received the results of his standardized tests. Jennings' attorney told reporters that's a moot point now -- that his client plans on playing in Europe even if he does receive a qualifying score on his SAT.

Critics of the NBA's age limit are very pleased with Jennings' decision, seeing it as the only way to really circumvent the NBA's ban on high schoolers entering the draft. Basketball uber-insider Sonny Vaccaro -- former Reebok executive and outspoken critic of the NCAA -- recently raised the "overseas" option as an age-limit end-around in an profile in The New Republic.

As usual, Henry Abbott at TrueHoop has all the details.
