Stephenson Decision Nearing?

At Rucker Park, they call Lance Stephenson "Born Ready." But when it comes to announcing his college choince, Stephenson has been anything but.

That could change soon.

One of the reasons that Stephenson is still undecided: his as-yet-unsettled legal status. Last October, Stephenson was accused of groping a female Lincoln High student in a school hallway; those charges have yet to be resolved, but the New York Daily News reports that he'll be in court today.

Of course, the legal issues haven't been the only speed bump in this process. Some schools are reportedly concerned that he may have compromised his amateur status, a la O.J. Mayo.

Right now, Arizona, Memphis and Cincinnati are the only schools formally involved in recruiting Stephenson. It will be interesting to see if any other schools get back into the mix after the legal issues are resolved.
