How Not to Get a College Scholarship
Aspiring NBA ballers have gone to great lengths trying to earn college scholarships... but Anthony Avalos' attempt is particularly noteworthy. Avalos re-enrolled in high school at age 22, using a phony birth certificate.
Thanks to his youthful appearance, Avalos fooled the school administration. But he made two mistakes: his forged birth certificate had misspellings, which raised some eyebrows... and the girl he started dating was just 17 years old.
He's been charged with forgery and sexual conduct with a minor.
It's too bad, really. He would have fit right in at Binghamton.

I’m not quite certain why he didn’t just use his own birth certificate. I didn’t realize there was an age restriction to high school enrollment. There certainly is not in college.
Simple. He already graduated high school once — in 2005. (Sorry if that was unclear.)
