I generally make a point not to select many rookies in my fantasy basketball drafts. First-year players are a bit of a crap-shoot - many don't land starting jobs right away, others have trouble adjusting to the pro game, and a few players in every class simply don't live up to the hype.

Of the 50 or so NBA newbies in this year's class, there are probably only five or six that will merit roster spots in the average fantasy NBA league. Anthony Davis is the most obvious choice, as "the Brow" will likely be among the league leaders in blocked shots.
