The 62nd NBA All-Star Game will be the third played in Houston and the second in the Toyota Center.
Houston last hosted the game in 2006. LeBron James - just 21 years old at the time - scored 29 points and grabbed six boards in that game, becoming the youngest player to win All-Star MVP honors. Tracy McGrady - then of the hometown Rockets - led all scorers with 36.
The 1989 game was also played in Houston - at the Astrodome. Future hall-of-famer Karl Malone won MVP honors for that game.
The game and all other all-star events will be televised on TNT.

Coaches
The Eastern and Western Conference all-star teams will be led by the coaches with the best records in their respective conferences as of February 3 - two weeks before the game.
