If jersey sales are any indication, all is forgiven. LeBron's jersey has re-taken the top spot in the NBA's jersey sales rankings.
The last time King James owned the top spot was in April, 2011 - after "The Decision" and his messy divorce from the Cleveland Cavaliers, but before his Miami Heat lost to the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Finals. Since then, James has added an NBA title, a third MVP award and a second Olympic gold medal to his increasingly-impressive resume.
NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant, whose Oklahoma City Thunder lost to James and the Heat in the NBA Finals, ranked second in the sales figures. Perennial favorite Kobe Bryant of the Lakers, the Knicks' Carmelo Anthony and Chicago's Derrick Rose round out the top five.
Bryant's new Laker teammates Dwight Howard and Steve Nash are the only players that changed teams this summer to make the list. Of course, Deron Williams is also sporting a new uniform this year, as his Nets completed their long-awaited move from New Jersey to Brooklyn.

In terms of overall merchandise sales, the New York Knicks topped the list. It seems fair to wonder how much of their surge was due to Lin-sanity. Lin's remarkable run last season helped sell an awful lot of Knick merchandise. But these rankings are based on sales starting in April; Lin's last appearance in a Knick uniform was on March 24th, and by July, he was a Houston Rocket.
Proximity is also a factor. These rankings are based on sales of merchandise via the NBA web site and at the NBA store, which is conveniently (for Knicks fans) located in Manhattan, just blocks from Madison Square Garden.
