A middle-of-the-pack team even before losing player of the year candidate Luke Harangody to injury, the Fighting Irish finished the season strong, playing their way into an at-large berth. Mike Brey's decision to slow the tempo really helped the Irish after Harangody's injury, as this team seems to thrive when playing in the halfcourt and at a snail's pace. Playing at their tempo, with Ben Hansbrough (Tyler's brother) and Tim Abromatis hitting from long-range, this team will be dangerous. But if a quicker team can force them into running, they'll be in big trouble.
