Old Dominion beat William & Mary, 60-53 in the CAA final, denying the Tribe the first NCAA tournament invite in school history. The Monarchs return to the NCAA Tournament field for the third time in six years after winning the CAA crown.
ODU won with their typically stout defense, harassing shooters out to the three-point arc and holding the Tribe to under 40% from the floor and 29% from distance.
William & Mary is one of five original Division I schools that has never earned an invite to the NCAA Tournament.
