The Rick Pitino Extortion Case
Karen Cunagin Sypher stands accused of attempting to extort money from Louisville coach Rick Pitino, in exchange for her silence. Pitino reportedly told police he had consensual sex with Sypher in 2003, and later paid her $3,000 to have an abortion. Sypher has accused Pitino of rape.
