Blake Griffin could have been a millionaire by now. Despite being projected as a mortal lock for the top ten in the 2008 NBA Draft, he opted to return to school and play one more year in Oklahoma's frontcourt alongside older brother Taylor.

Sooner fans couldn't have been happier with that decision. Griffin was perhaps the most dominant player in college hoops last season, with averages of 22.7 points, 14.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game. Among his postseason honors: the Wooden Award, given annually to college basketball's top player.

NBA Player Comparison: With his mix of size, strength and agility, Griffin evokes comparison to Amare Stoudemire of the Phoenix Suns. Some observers have gone so far as to mention Griffin in the same breath as hall-of-famer Karl Malone.
