How much does the home court advantage mean in the Final Four? When you're up against Ty Lawson, Wayne Ellington and the Carolina Tar Heels, not much.

National Semifinal: Michigan State 82, Connecticut 73

The Spartans neutralized Connecticut's size advantage by playing up-tempo; Hasheem Thabeet couldn't keep Kalin Lucas and Raymar Morgan out of the pain -- he was too busy chasing them up and down the court in transition. The fact that the Spartans were playing in front of a partisan crowd, just 90 miles from their East Lansing campus, certainly didn't hurt.

National Semifinal: North Carolina 83, Villanova 69

Tyler Hansbrough, Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington could have made the jump to the NBA after last season. In the National Semifinal, they played like it. Carolina was simply too deep and too tough for the Wildcats, rolling to a double-digit lead in the first six minutes and never looking back.

National Championship Game: North Carolina 89, Michigan State 72

The last game of the season offered little drama as Carolina dominated from the outset. Following the same script they used in the National Semifinal win over Villanova, the 'Heels built an early lead and never let up.

Carolina set new championship game records with 55 first-half points and a 55-34 halftime lead. Ty Lawson scored a game-high 21 points and racked up eight steals -- also a championship game record. Wayne Ellington had 19 and Tyler Hansbrough 18.
