Those Friars seem to have a tough time enforcing the seventh commandment... Providence hoopsters own the top two spots on the all-time list for steals.
1. John Linehan - 385
Providence: 1997-2002
A mere 5'9", 165-pounder, Linehan was an absolute pest on defense, plaguing Big East guards for four-plus seasons -- he was granted a medical redshirt and fifth year of eligibility after losing all but six games of his junior year to injury. As a senior in 2001-02, he won the Henry Iba Corinthian Award as the nation's best defender.
