The champions of the six "major" conferences will be crowned this week, as postseason tournaments tip off from sea (Madison Square Garden) to shining sea (the Staples Center in Los Angeles). Here's a look at Championship Week for the ACC, Big East, Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10 and SEC.

The Atlantic Coast Conference moves its postseason tournament from its traditional home in North Carolina to the spacious Georgia Dome, home of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons.

2. Big East Tournament

The Big East unveils a new format this year -- all sixteen member schools are invited, but the top four seeds get byes for the first and second rounds.

3. Big Ten Tournament

Get some scouting for your NCAA Tournament brackets done at the Big Ten tourney -- eight of the eleven schools playing have a pretty good shot at making the Big Dance.

4. Big 12 Tournament

The Oklahoma Sooners stumbled a bit while Blake Griffin was sidelined by a concussion. They'll look to re-assert themselves as the Big 12's team to beat at the Ford Center in Oklahoma City.

5. Pac 10 Tournament

The Staples Center is home to two NBA franchises... but the college game takes over this week, as the Pac 10 Tournament is played on Kobe's home court.

6. SEC Tournament

There will be more pressure than usual at the SEC Tournament this year... a tournament championship is about the only way that Kentucky can keep their streak of 18 consecutive March Madness appearances alive.
